Sarah is a self taught silversmith.

She is deeply drawn to the lush landscapes of the Northwest, and draws much inspiration from the old forests and magnificent mountains.

The name Understory Silversmithing came from the desire to grasp the things that most inspire her jewelry. While Sarah is deeply inspired by the forest floor (or understory), she also takes inspiration from folk stories and strives to seek the deeper meaning beneath them.
