Sage Grouse Pendant with Citrine
Sage Grouse Pendant with Citrine
The Greater Sage Grouse (also known as "sagehen") is an endangered bird native to the western United States. This bird is distinct in its appearance with two large yellow air sacks the males puff up during mating rituals. This bird is vital to the ecosystem where they live because the presence of them indicates a healthy and intact sage brush habitat.
10% of sales from this pendant will go to Greater Sage Grouse rescue efforts in Oregon.

About the necklace:
Sturdy sterling silver, handmade with two rosecut citrine stones in place of the air sacks. This piece comes on an 18" long sterling silver box chain. This piece is heavy and therefore a heavier chain complements it nicely. This can't be switched out for a different one, sorry!
"SAGE GROUSE" is stamped on the back.
Measures 38mm in length and 40mm wide.
